I stayed in room 103 which felt like right out of Harry Potter with its unique layout under the stairs. The room was clean but lacked adequate light due to the window placement. The restaurant next door was convenient for meals but service was slow, especially for solo guests. Overall, the stay was comfortable with good room standards and friendly staff.

The hotel is a great value for money with warm and clean rooms providing everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The beds are supportive, shower pressure is good, and amenities like a large TV, kettle, and hairdryer are available. However, the unique 'marmite rooms' like number 103 may not be to everyone's liking due to their unconventional layout. The restaurant service can be slow, but the peaceful location makes it an ideal stopover for exploring Somerset and nearby attractions.
